DIY (neck-tie) statement bib necklace

Step 1:   untie the knot and keep the tie in its original shape.

Step 2: I then cut out a 2 ft long wire and inserted in the opening at one end of the tie then shaped it into a half circle.  And to “youthenize” it, I added a couple of buttons at one end of the wire. These buttons also serve as a hook  for the closure.

The result? A perfectly wearable accessory  and I can still reuse the tie for other projects.
